  I grew up in Los Altos and attended church services in this beautiful and peaceful building. It was here that I felt the influence of the Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ and where I began my personal journey of faith in Jesus Christ that has endured my entire life. All people searching for the meaning of life and the fullness of truth are welcomed here. It was in this building where I was interviewed to be found worthy by my church leader to receive a mission call to serve a 2 year mission to Germany. I was also interviewed here by my church leader to be found worthy to be married to my bride (now of over 40 years), in the Oakland LDS Temple. Wonderful, life-changing memories abound here in the Valparaiso church building.

  Love this church! Moved to the area just over two months ago, and we've felt so welcome from the first time we came to church. We've got young people, old people, middle aged people, and everyone is so friendly.
